whoot whoot!
but not really. I'm actually posting because it is my duty (lolol duty)
so anyways wmily. i think i shall comment on your post that is commenting on my post. Don't hurt yourself too hard trying to figure that out...
but WMILY! you've never played laser tag before?! This is something you must do. you would like it. i can already tell.
which reminds me, the last time i went with some buds we named our codenames after pokemon...
yeah. we're real cool.
(you know, until this 7 year old kid starts yelling "DIE SQUIRTLE DIE!!" and then you're just like "silly kid, pokemon don't die they only faint leduh")
....uh, yeah.
i think i've already told you this. OH WELL YOU GOT TO HEAR IT AGAIN.
dude kevjumba('s dad) is cool.
and you talking about pokemon red and silver (those were the right games, right? i'm too lazy to go back and double check...so whichever pokemon games you were talking about) have inspired me on my next activity!
because i totally didn't plan on writing about this activity today...of course not....cough...
its okay you're just promoting my activity with your wise words :D
or something.
Activity Four: Pokemon, Gym Leader Style
Step One: Find a really really old/never-played pokemon game. Preferably one you don't care about anymore. Or maybe one you never actually really played...you know, one you wouldn't mind saving a file over for. Don't have a pokemon game (or don't want to save over any of your games)? then buy one. Or just do something else that won't take money. Like reading.
Step Two: Get acquainted with the region of the game. If you've played the game before, or one from the same region, you should pretty much know the general pokemon in your game and which ones are most pwnful (like bidoof.)
Step Three: Pick a type! It can be your favorite, or one that's really powerful, but the best types are ones that usually have another type to go with it. Like how a lot of grass pokemon are also part poison (or maybe that's just bulbasaur...) and not like how pretty much all flying pokemon are purely flying, or phychic are usually only psychic.
Step Four: Do your research! This can vary in time, depending on how well you are acquainted to the game. You should know the 1337 4 (elite four)'s pokemon and their weaknesses, and try to find pokemon of your selected type that will be able to take down their pokemon. Rule of thumb, though, try to have at least one pokemon of your type that can also beat pokemon that will be super effective; for instance, pelipper is both flying and water so if faced with a grass pokemon it could just wasp like WOOSH! WING ATTACK! and the grass pokemon would faint. (yayy run on sentences)
Step Five: PLAY THE GAME CAPTURING ONLY THE TYPE YOU CHOSE! It's hard, but oh-so-fun. because its just like, WHEWT I'M THE ULTIMATE -insert type here- MASTERRR! and if you're kinda stretching the guidelines by choosing some really powerful type (like dragon) that you don't get in like the first half of the game, initially chose a backup related type like flying or something until you can train your leet pokemon. cuz i mean, even misty has a togepi.
but yes, it's fun. I did it with water types on my ruby version, which is probably the easiest type because its all like "flying/water! electric/water! grass/water! rock/water!"
but stillllll.
another thing you could do if you're not up for that is to try playing the game without capturing a pokemon with the main three types (water, grass, fire...you'd have to store away/release your starter). it can get kinda hard when it comes to learning HMs, but it should be possible. don't worry, i won't tell if you sneakily catch a tentacool to learn dive.
WMILY! you should probably read that harry potter book before the movie comes out in novemver. y'know...just sayin.
