now, why would you do that?
BECAUSE THE GYM LEADERS NAMES ARE TOTALLY CORRESPONDING TO THE TYPE THEY CHOOSE.
(and no, i am not talking about girl/boy 'types.' though brock has a thing for older women. for legal reasons unknown. cough)

and uh, you can look at all the gym leaders and see a connotation! (except maybe the annoying orange islands. but hey (apple!), i could be wrong.)
but if you have trouble figuring out the connotation, (is that even the right word? besides the bird) look on bulbapedia because they actually know what they're talking about.
and they have some pretty cool quick claws.

oh right. back to the winmily story.
so we (being wmily and mwah muah) were like WOA THIS IS AMAYYYYYZING!
and were just generally geeking out like the pichu and minuns we are
and we somehow got off on an algebraic geometric tangent about brains.
and how it looked like brian.
and how brian should be a psychic gym leader because BRIAN = BRAIN = PSYCHIC
and also there was a topic about how fantina was a ghost gym leader and wmily was like "LOLOL PHANTOM AND XINA COMBINEDDDD"

and so i suggested to her HEY! THERE SHOULD BE A CHAMPION NAME WINMILY BECAUSE ITS LIKE WIN, as in champion AND WMILY which is a win!
